On Saturday April 22nd, The Richard Sheltra Memorial Run will be held in Pineville, NC. This event honors the life of local fallen firefighter, Mr. Richard Sheltra of the Pineville Volunteer Fire Department.
First responders are very close to our hearts here at Harris Communications, so in addition to being a sponsor of the race, some of our team members will be running in the race as well. Stay tuned for a followup post to see how our runners fared in the race!
All proceeds will benefit the “Richard Sheltra Memorial Foundation.” This Foundation is designed to purchase New Turnout Gear and provide Educational Scholarships for first responders.
