iSpotty – Is iPhone Reception Hurting Your Business?

Hello! I read an article in the NYTimes a few weeks ago and have been meaning to share it with you. It focuses on the spotty coverage that accompanies the iPhone.  Let’s focus on the poor coverage that many users experience and touches upon the idea of AT&T providing microcells to users.  The main point of contention is that that volume of iPhone users is in direct correspondence with the unreliable coverage.  Essentially, the amount of iPhone users and the volume of data that is accessed through the phone is actually contributing to poor coverage.  For those of you not familiar with Microcells, they are a low power cellular tower that is most commonly used in residential applications.

We deal with the commercial grade repeater solutions and have worked with AT&T solutions in the past.  Harris Communications provides single and multi-carrier solutions for all types and sizes of facilities.  Contact us today to learn more about a solution for your business.
